Day 2 (YS…UI!)

Hey guys, how are you doing?  Are you digging through your stuff, and finding some new/old treasures?  Maybe stuff you forgot you had?  And inspiration in those deep drawers and boxes?  Here is my card from Day 2 of ‘Your Stuff… Use It!’

debbie condolance card

This one is the condolence card I made for my S-MIL.  It is a move vintage color scheme in real life, not this bright…  This is a card lift I made from Splitcoaststampers.  The paper is from a bulk batch of 600+ papers I bought back in May.  The cream card stock is from Staples, and the chocolate-brown card stock is from Michael’s.  The ‘Thinking of You’ stamp is also one I bought as part of a wooden stamp set at Michael’s, and it’s stamped in Soft Brown Hero Arts Ink.  The butterfly is more cream card stock made with a EK Success layer stamp.  The embossing was done in my Big Kick with a Cricket Embossing Folder…

So, did you make any cards this weekend? Did you use your stuff? (or did you break down and run out the Michael’s or the scrapbook store?)  Leave us a link in the comments so we can come see! :)
