I have never done a sketch challenge before. I have make cards from sketches, and done other challenges, but This one I couldn’t pass up. I saw the card when I was surfing for something else. And I instantly loved it! My immediate thought was, I need to case this card. So, I clicked on it to track it down to it’s web site, and low and behold, it was the example for a card sketch challenge. I couldn’t believe when i loved the sketch as much as the card…
And I immediately blanked. Sent DH to the stash (I know, dangerous stuff, but I like living on the edge ) and told him to pick 2 papers that went together. This is the card that became of this fun excercise-
This one is made with 2 random papers from my stash (sorry, I don’t know who made them, I bought a huge lot of paper last spring, and these 2 were in it), Various colors of Hero Arts shadow inks, Simon Says Stamps set called Petal Pieces (clear stamp set), EK Tools butterfly punch, a Cricket embossing folder, and white heavy card stock from my office supply store. Oh, and the black is done with Sharpie. I think it’s makes it pop!
(Oh, BTW, I did use my stuff! )
Have a great weekend! =D
